SPINE

Blake JK Chen’s Twilight Lady is one of the first webcomics I’ve read from Spider Forest after I joined. He did a huge favor for me, for writing the best little synopsis for SPINE #1. I may not be able to return the favor fully, but I will try.

I am writing this on my dying computer. These words will be last few ones typed on Orleena. Makes me sad. Anyway, on with Twilight Lady!

Twilight lady utilizes my favorite palette: cold blue with bright, sharp reds. The artwork is simply gorgeous. Blake explores the psychological side of the vampire mythos in his webcomic. Our main character, Jen is a musician. It’s ironic that she isn’t famous at all – but what hides inside her is an immortal spirit that everyone wants Jen for.
